Running will take the majority of the fat off. If you want more tone abs then you need to do some good old fashioned crunches. Also add some variety. There are many different ways to do push ups. Instead of going just up and down pull your chest up to the right or left side. This will work more of the sides of your abs. Hope this helps.

Sadly we cant really choose where our bodies store the fat, so do plenty of cardio exercise such as running, swimming or cycling to reduce your overall body fat percentage, and this will reduce the amount of fat on the pelvic area.
